Part of the Roertriangle museum is the Educationgroup "War in the Roertriangle" which yearly visits more than 10 schools in the region. Our workshop is based on two basic principles, recognizable and tangible. Recognizable: we have a powerpoint presentation with photographs and drawings/maps from the pre-war and war period. We also deal with the wartime activity in Limburg and the environment of the school we visit.
Tangible: during our visit we wear old allied uniforms and show some objects from the museum collection that where used during the war. |
